The First Medals of the London Olympiad have been awarded.
China won the Gold and Bronze, while Poland came away with the silver in the Women’s 10 meter Air Rifle event.
Yi Siling, the world #1 shooter took home Gold
Poland’s Sylwia Bogacka came away with the Silver after a mistake on her 8th shot cost her the lead.
China’s Yu Dan rounded out the 3 medalists, earning the Bronze
China lead off the 2012 London Olympics where they left off 4 years ago in Beijing… In the Lead. The 23 year old Yu Siling, who has been shooting since the age of 8 admitted to feeling alot of pressure early this morning, but that was hardly evident as both her composure and her aim were spot on today.
